Irish Hearing Aid Blogger
Geoffrey Cooling is an Irish author, hearing loss blogger and a hearing healthcare professional who has been involved in the Hearing Healthcare Profession Since 2006. He initially worked as a Hearing Healthcare Professional for a large national retailer in Ireland. After several years in Practice he was approached to work for a manufacturer, where he was employed for five years. He is now the Co-Founder of a business called Audiology Engine, who design websites, undertake content marketing and generally look after everything digital for audiological practices.
For many years Geoff has written articles across many websites and for international hearing aid journals. He has also written two commercially available books in both paperback and Kindle format. He has a great interest in commercial strategy as it applies to Healthcare in general and specifically to Hearing Healthcare. He also has a great interest in the psychology of sales and human interaction.
Geoff is legendary for many things, primarily the amount he curses, his dry and mischievous sense of humour and his complete intolerance of people who are full of themselves. He would like to point out that all views, opinions and thoughts here are his own. Unless of course they have been planted by the pod people, you just can’t take your eyes off the pod people. Those views do not necessarily reflect upon any views or opinions held by his employer, if anyone is ever stupid enough or brilliant enough (who knows) to employ him again.
He is exceptionally knowledgeable about hearing aid technology and is gifted with the ability to turn the incomprehensible in the easily understood. He still sells hearing aids in Dublin on a part-time basis with Connect Hearing
