These speaker wires are compatible with all Receiver in Canal (RIC) hearing aids supplied by Phonak and Unitron and are available as a Standard Receiver or a Power Receiver.

We supply an adapter to be used with older Phonak and Unitron RIC products to make the wires compatible with products like Audeo YES, Micropower etc. (if you need to attach an adapter for older hearing aids

N.B. Phonak’s receiver wires have recently been upgraded as of mid 2013 and have a slightly different appearance. The new receivers (the part that goes deepest into your ear canal) are slightly curved to aid fit, and the Power receivers are particularly much smaller than previously, now only slightly larger than a Standard wire. Overall this is an improvement, but if you are using some kind of custom tip (as opposed to domes) the new type receivers may not fit. If you are unsure

On the grey housing of the speaker wire you will see a coloured label, blue denotes a left wire, red denotes a right wire. The size and power of the wires is denoted in this way; the number is the size of the wire and the letters denote the power level. If you see xS the wire is standard wires, xP is for power wires. eg a size 2 standard wire for the right ear would have a red label on the grey housing and you would see 2xS, and a size 2 power wire for the left ear would have a blue label and you would see 2xP.

For older versions of Phonak speaker wires you will see a number from 0 to 3 on the grey housing, it will be a red number for the right ear and a blue number for the left. A standard wire has a long straight thin housing and a power wire is bulkier and has a stepped appearance.

Phonak suitability includes Phonak Audeo, Audeo Yes, Audeo Smart and Audeo Mini, Phonak Audeo S Smart and Audeo S Smart Mini, microPower, Naida S CRT and microSavia Art CRT.

Included in the pack are a selection of domes – a small, a medium and a large dome are included, open domes are supplied with Standard Receivers and power domes with Power Receivers. Domes supplied are the newer ‘smokey’ domes, the older clear domes have now been superseded as of mid 2013.
