My elderley mother-in-law wears hearing aids and suffers from psoriasis. She has a constant battle to keep her ear canals clear enough for the hearing aids to function. Do you have any advice/experience that could help her please?

Is she allergic to nuts? Almond oil seems to work extraordinarily well on dry skin in the ear canals
